Tummy Tuck and Rectus Muscle Plasty with Liposuction

After: 3 months after the abdominal muscle plasty and liposuction of the waist and the hips. Wearing trousers and a short top, the patient proudly shows off her exposed stomach, which she has never before had the courage to do. The umbilicus has also been newly constructed. The pubic area has also been lifted, which the patient finds satisfactory.

Tummy Tuck and Rectus Muscle Plasty with Liposuction

Before: Large sagging and bulging stomach. The waist and the hips are invisible.
After: 3 months later the waist and the hips can be seen. The large stomach is gone. The lower abdomen will now be further thinned out (session II). This is a minor intervention using liposuction.

Abdominoplasty

Before: Weak and bulging abdominal muscles following earlier pregnancies. No excess fat. In this case it is above all muscle tightening that is required – but also a skin reduction for the best result.
After: 2 months after abdominal muscle plasty and skin reduction. Still tape on the scars for the best results.

After: 3 months after the abdominal muscle plasty and skin reduction. The scar is still red but it will fade.

Abdominoplasty

After: Profile. The sag is gone and the stomach is flat.

Abdominoplasty

Semi-profile before and after surgery.

Abdominoplasty

Before: Large sagging stomach with scars after previous operations, both at the top and the bottom.
After abdominoplasty and tightening of the abdominal rectus muscles: The scar at the bottom has disappeared while the scar at the top has been pulled downwards because of the large skin reduction from above the umbilicus and down to the pubic area. In accordance with the wishes of the patient, the lower abdomen and the pubic area have been lifted.

Abdominoplasty

Before: Large stomach with excess of skin and fat. The abdominal muscles are weak and very bulging. Large excesses of fat on the back and on the hips.
After: The abdominal rectus muscles have been tightened through a special plasty. For reasons of safety, the thinning out of the centre of the abdomen was performed as a second procedure six months after the primary surgery.

Abdominoplasty

Before: Large stomach with excess of skin and fat. Large excesses of fat on the back and on the hips.
After: The scar is well placed, can be hidden and will fade gradually. The lower abdomen, including the pubic area, has been lifted, which the patient finds good. The angled scar follows the iliac crest and tightens the waist. A second liposuction has been carried out using wet technique and intra-venous sedation in the arm. The patient experiences a great change that has many positive effects.

Abdominoplasty

Before abdominoplasty: Large excess of skin and fat following 2 pregnancies.
After abdominoplasty and liposuction of hips and waist: The abdominal rectus muscles were strengthened by being sewn together at the mid-line. Now happy with both the hips and the waist.

Abdominoplasty

Before abdominoplasty: Large excess of skin and fat following 2 pregnancies.
After abdominoplasty and liposuction of hips and waist: The abdominal rectus muscles were strengthened by being sewn together at the mid-line. According to plan, a thinning out was made centrally on the stomach after 6 months. In this way, circulation in the skin is not put at any risk. A special technique, developed by Doctor Wieslander, removes the risk of seromas (fluid collection) after the surgery.
