Brachioplasty

Before: Young women in her early 30s, always worried about her large sagging upper arms. Wants to avoid scars.
After only liposuction combined with our special vibration technique and a compression garment for 3 months: The skin has contracted in a satisfactory way. Happy with the result. In older people, this result cannot be achieved by liposuction only. If liposuction only is performed in young people, the sagging skin can contract and the result will be quite stable. Both liposuction only in the young and brachioplasty with skin reduction in the elderly are performed at the Institute of Plastic Surgery, Malmö, Sweden.

Brachioplasty

Before brachioplasty: Not at all happy with sagging fat and skin under the raised upper arms.
After only liposuction and a compression garment for 10 weeks. Considerably thinner upper arms due to liposuction only and contracting skin.  A good technique in young people and virtually no postoperative problems.

Brachioplasty

Before brachioplasty: Not happy with excess skin and fat on the upper arms.
After: Only liposuction and a compression garment for 10 weeks. In young people (not over 35), the skin can contract itself, as in this case.
